Food & Beverage Director

With 13 years in the food and beverage industry, Terra Velasquez has worked her way through every position in the industry, developing a deep understanding of hospitality operations from the ground up. She spent seven years as the General Manager of Home Plate Bar & Grill, one of Houston’s longest-standing sports bars, where she played a pivotal role in its continued success. During the COVID shutdown, Terra took the opportunity to expand her expertise, earning multiple certifications and currently working toward becoming a Level One Sommelier with the Court of Master Sommeliers. She is also a Certified Spirits Specialist, further enhancing her industry knowledge. Terra joined Finn at Swallow’s Nest as Bar Manager, where she spent two years refining her craft before becoming the owner/operator of Swallow’s Nest. Having been deeply involved in Finn’s evolution since COVID, she has honed the skills necessary to take the next step in her career. Now, as the Food & Beverage Director at Finn and Jones on Main, Terra is leading Finn’s rebrand and elevation, ensuring its transformation into a premier dining and hospitality destination.
